Custom WordPress design in London.
Bespoke WordPress design by a London studio — no templates, no page-builder bloat. We design custom WordPress themes around your brand, your audience and the decision each page has to carry. See the design work below.
Design that's made for you, not chosen from a menu.
Bespoke WordPress Design
Every layout is designed from scratch around your brand and audience — never a premium theme reskinned or a page-builder template.
Brand-Led Visuals
Typography, colour, and art direction built into a design system that carries your brand consistently across every page and template.
Designed for the Decision
Each template is designed around the moment a visitor makes up their mind. Deeper research and testing is UX design, and a separate engagement.
Designed around your brand, not a template.
Most "WordPress design" is a marketplace theme with your logo dropped in. Ours starts with your brand, your customers, and a blank canvas. We design custom WordPress websites in Figma — home page, templates, blog, and every state in between — as a complete design system your visitors feel and your team can grow into.
- Bespoke UI design and a reusable WordPress design system
- Custom WordPress web design tailored to your brand guidelines
- WordPress blog and editorial design that's a pleasure to read
- Responsive design tested across mobile, tablet, and desktop
- Accessible, on-brand layouts with real content, not lorem ipsum

A WordPress theme designer, not a theme installer.
We design genuinely custom WordPress themes — designer WordPress themes drawn for one brand and one brief, rather than a marketplace author's guess at a thousand. The design covers every template, every state and every breakpoint, so nothing is left to be improvised later. Where a marketplace theme decides your layout and you negotiate with it, a designed theme starts from what your brand actually needs to say.
- Designer WordPress themes built bespoke for your brand
- Custom Gutenberg blocks and ACF fields designed for real editors
- Tailored design of layouts, templates and every interaction state
- Full design system in Figma, documented and handed over
What are the ways to get a WordPress design?
Three, honestly. Two of them are cheaper than us and sometimes they are the right answer.
A marketplace theme
£50–£200 and live this week. The design was drawn for an imaginary average business, so you adapt your content to its layout rather than the other way round. Genuinely fine for a first site or a project with no brand to express yet — and the reason so many sites look like each other.
A page builder
Elementor, Divi, WPBakery. Freedom to move anything, which is also the problem: nothing holds the design together once several people have edited it, and the markup makes real speed and accessibility hard to reach. Good for landing pages you will throw away. Poor for a site meant to last.
A designed theme
From £5,000 and four to eight weeks. Drawn for your brand, delivered as a component system, and the layout concedes nothing to a template. Worth it when the site has to carry a level of finish that matches the thing it represents — and not worth it before then.
Design intent? Come and see the work.
A few of the custom WordPress designs we have drawn for brands across London and beyond.
That's So Cheesy
Bold, appetite-led brand and WordPress design for a London grazing-table business.
Jongleurs Comedy
A high-energy redesign for a legendary UK comedy brand, built on WordPress.
Mount St. Projects
Refined, editorial design for a Mayfair hospitality and arts destination.
Sofreh Restaurant
Warm, characterful design for an acclaimed London restaurant brand.
Designed first. Built second. Never templated.
Most WordPress sites are designed by choosing a theme and then negotiating with it. Every layout decision becomes a question of what the template will allow, and the result is a site that looks like a slightly customised version of ten thousand others. We work the other way round.
Design starts in Figma with your content, not with a grid. We look at what you actually need to say, what the visitor is trying to establish, and where the decision gets made — then design the pages that carry that. Nothing becomes a theme until the design is agreed, so the design concedes nothing to a template.
- Discovery — your audience, your competitors, and the specific job each page has to do
- Art direction — typography, colour, spacing and motion, agreed before any layouts
- Page design — the templates that matter, designed at desktop and mobile together
- Design system — components documented so your team can build new pages without redesigning them
- Handover — Figma files, components and design notes, yours to build with anyone
Engineering — the build, integrations, WooCommerce, migrations — is WordPress development, quoted separately. Same team, different page.
What bespoke WordPress design costs in London.
Design-only engagements are quoted separately from build, so you can take the design elsewhere if you want to.
Design only — from £5,000
Art direction, page designs and a documented component system, delivered in Figma with developer handoff. Yours to build with whoever you like.
Design & build — from £8,000
The same design, hand-coded by the people who drew it. No handoff loss, no "the developer could not quite do that" conversations.
Redesign of an existing site
Quoted after a short audit. Often cheaper than a new build because the content model and structure already exist — and occasionally more expensive, if they do not.
Brands we have designed for here.
Our London design work sits mostly in property, hospitality and the performing arts — sectors where the site has to carry a level of finish that matches the thing it represents.
- Mount St Projects — high-end residential development, where the site had to feel like the properties
- Sofreh — a London restaurant designed for one-handed phone use above everything else
- Jongleurs — comedy venues, with listings and artist pages across multiple sites
- Akhtamar Armenian Performance Group — cultural programming and event listings
- That’s So Cheesy — an editorial food brand designed to survive its own Instagram grid
